We've done our homework.

Asking the community. Our results.
We know some of our neighbors have questions and reservations about the project. Here's an overview to help fill in the blanks.
Members of the Cain Park Neighborhood Association organized the Cleveland Heights Dog Project in order to legally walk their dogs in Cain Park. We believe that well-behaved dogs belong in Cain Park and do not disrupt other users of the park. The Dog Project promotes responsible dog ownership in the belief that dog walking will make Cain Park more friendly, safe, and full of activity. Our July 2012 online survey received 418 responses, with 68 percent in favor of allowing dogs in Cain Park and only 23 percent opposed. A summary of the survey results can be found below. The top concerns expressed in the survey were about owners who do not pick up waste, let their dogs run loose, and allow aggressive behavior. We believe that these will seldom be a problem in Cain Park, particularly if responsible dog owners model positive behavior.
